What is this drug used for?
• It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin.
Possible side effects
Butenafine may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
• Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• Irritation where this drug is used.
• Redness.
• Burning.
• Swelling.
• Blisters or sores.
• Oozing or bleeding.

Storage and Stability
Lotrimin Ultra: Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F).
Mentax: Store at 5°C to 30°C (41°F to 86°F).
